Plot
Aadhi (Jayam Ravi) is a ruthless gangster who operates in Bangkok. He is known for his cunning and ruthless ways of dealing with his enemies. He meets Karishma (Neetu Chandra), a bar dancer, and falls in love with her. He decides to leave his criminal life behind and start a new life with her. However, he soon discovers that Karishma is not who she seems to be. She is actually Bhagavan (also Jayam Ravi), a transgender woman who underwent a sex change operation to escape from her abusive father. Bhagavan had planned to use Aadhi as a pawn to take revenge on her father and his associates, who had killed her mother and sister.
Aadhi is shocked and enraged by this revelation, and feels betrayed by Bhagavan. He decides to kill her, but is stopped by his friend Rani (Sudha Chandran), who reveals that she is also a transgender woman who helped Bhagavan in her transformation. She pleads with Aadhi to spare Bhagavan's life, as she loves him sincerely. Aadhi agrees to let Bhagavan go, but warns her to never cross his path again.
However, Bhagavan's father and his associates track down Aadhi and Bhagavan, and kidnap them. They torture them brutally, and plan to kill them. Aadhi and Bhagavan manage to escape from their captors, and fight back against them. In the process, Aadhi realizes that he still loves Bhagavan, despite her gender identity. He confesses his love to her, and they embrace each other. The film ends with Aadhi and Bhagavan leaving together for a new life.

The film has its moments, but suffers from a weak script and a slow pace." Rediff.com also gave the film 3 out of 5 stars, and stated, "Aadhi Bhagavan is not for the faint-hearted. It is a violent film with a lot of blood and gore. But if you are looking for something different and bold, you might want to give it a try." The Times of India gave the film 2.5 out of 5 stars, and commented, "Aadhi Bhagavan is a film that tries to be too clever for its own good. It has an interesting premise and a shocking twist, but fails to capitalize on them. The film is marred by a convoluted plot, poor editing, and excessive violence. The film is a disappointment from Ameer, who has given us much better films in the past."
